Teaching Robert’s Rules of Order to the Parsian Gas Refining Company

On the initiative of the Education Unity of the Parsian Gas Refining Company, for the first time, a workshop for teaching Robert’s Rules of Order to the Company’s managers and engineers was arranged on December, 15 & 16, 2015 on the campus.

The Parsian Gas Refining Company is located on the southern region of Iran. It has more than 1200 personnel that most of them must participate in the specialized and large committees meetings and, therefore, they need to know some rules of order.

It is necessary to be mentioned that about ten years ago and for the first time Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised 10th Edition translated into Persian and its translator attempted to learn these rules of order very well. And after about five years hared working, the first workshop for teaching parliamentary procedure as explained in Robert’s Rules of Order took place in Tehran on 2012. Since then more than about 400 individuals have participated in this workshops and now some of them, as the first generation of the Iranian parliamentarians can teach Robert’s Rules of Order to the others.

The workshop which took place in the Parsian Gas Refining Company two days ago was the first one in its own kind and shows a new step in this course.
